You seem to be combining issues of other modes and acting like they don’t have their own separate rules, and instead, you are substituting rules you have invented and think should be the case. The typical reason for QM is due to groups being allowed to bend matching rules, especially if they’re matched against another group.
If you were to pick nova, you may still be matched against a nova.ģ supports are allowed in a game for several reasons, but those reasons will depend on the mode. That means that it’s not only possible for one to be in every single game, they are heroes that will have mirror matches due to how many players are picking those heroes.
Nazeebo, valla, nova, and li-ming all have pick-rates above 20% for QM.
